Communication

Core Competency

The role of Communication is to give a voice to the community, but also to cultivate support and buy-in from crucial internal and external audiences and partners. The notion that “Data = Stories = Funding” rings especially true in achieving successful community transformation. Telling stories of survival, impact and ultimately healing has the power to change an individual, home, family and entire community.

The art of communicating starts with the why, what, how and call to action. Establishing a Community Well-Being communication strategy, identifying key stakeholders, crafting messages and creatively sharing outcomes are some of the key components to successful communication.

Community Well-Being Communication includes

  • Internal and external communication strategies
  • Initiative specific communication strategies
  • Article and story development
  • Content development
